Back to School… again! ~ [Harrisburg, PA – Child Photographer]

Another summer, gone by in a swoosh!!!  I can’t believe it’s already September (almost) and the girls are now in first and fourth grade.  I took them out last night for our annual “back to school” photo session and although I don’t think they were looking forward to it at first, the idea of tasting those big, colorful lollipops I gave them, convinced them that a few photos wouldn’t be that bad.  (Yes, I do still use bribery!).

So here they are, ready to start this new school year and ready to eat those lollipops!  🙂

A Trip to PA ~ [Harrisburg, PA – Family Photographer]

I loved this gang!  I had the most wonderful pleasure of meeting them this past Saturday during their visit to the Hershey area for their annual family reunion.  Despite the fact that they had all just traveled quite a distance from different parts of the country, they were still completely radiant and full of life.  There was no question in my mind just how very much this family loved being together.  I promised to share a sneak peek for them so here goes!  Thank you Hilary for finding me, and for allowing me the opportunity to spend the morning with you and your beautiful family!  🙂

Grandparents Day Session ~ [Harrisburg, PA – Child Photographer]

It’s that wonderful time of the year again when I have the honor of photographing five of my favorite little girlies in preparation for their upcoming Grandparents Day celebration.  I had a delightful time with them this past Sunday, as I always do!  I have been photographing them for a few years now and I love seeing them grow from year to year.  This is a big share so sit back and enjoy!  And here is a cute Grandparents poem I found and thought I would share.

From early in the morning,
Until I go to sleep each day,
I know my grandparents love me,
In a very special way.
Sometimes it’s tea and crackers,
Sometimes a walk in the park,
Sometimes it’s just a hug when I’m scared and in the dark.
I love to hear their stories,
About the past and where they’re from,
And I know their hearts are filled for me,
With never ending love.

Vintage Hats ~ [Harrisburg, PA – Child Photographer]

I have a gigantic fondness for vintage hats.  Sweet, simple, colorful little vintage hats that while I walk by them in the antique store they scream, “Take me, take me!  I have tons of charm and a story to tell!”  Let’s face it, I’m a sucker for these things and I am fortunate to have two cute little daughters who don’t mind their mommy pleading with them to quick get a nice top or coat on, and follow me to the nearest photographic location so I can test out my new hat.  God love them!  It takes a little bit of coercing but eventually, they succumb to my begging and pleading (and sometimes bribery) and let me play around with their hair as they model my new hat.  Here are a few.  Oh, and by the way… these darling little hats are waiting for you!  After all, that is the reason I buy them!  So that my clients can enjoy them during their photo session if they’d like.  And yes, I even have a classic fedora for the boys out there.  I’ll even attach an oldie but goodie of Matheus modeling it for me several years ago.  So cute!  🙂
