Welcome to

THE BLOG

Another one of my favorite, “nutty” things!

If I had to quickly ramble off a list of my favorite things, there is no doubt that peanut butter would land pretty high up on that list.  I know this may sound a bit nutty (no pun intended) but when my day calls for a quick snack between meals, you undoubtedly will find me reaching for that peanut butter and typically a banana to go with it.  While I love, love, love a spoonful of peanut butter, anytime, anywhere, I love it even more when it’s accompanied by a not-too-ripe banana.  And since PB&J is a frequent lunch here in our home, there is seldom a day that goes by that I don’t think of my peanut butter.  And this morning I finally realized just how deep my love for peanut butter is.  I had enjoyed my banana while spreading peanut butter on it after each bite.  But while picking up the container and walking back to the pantry to put it back in it’s place, I actually looked at my dear JIF and said out loud “I love you!”.  I mean, I actually said it out loud!!!!!  So yes, that probably does make me a little bit (no, probably a lot) nutty, but it’s true.  I do love my peanut butter!  And after all, it is the #1 choice of choosy moms!  And so with that, it is worthy of having its own place on my blog as another one of my favorite things.

Happy Birthday Jack!

This past Friday, we headed down to the shore and kicked off the holiday weekend with a very special celebration.  My nephew Jack turned ONE!!!  And what a great birthday it was!  Complete with family and cake and kisses and gifts.  Great fun was had by all and little Jack was filled with smiles the entire time.  And over the weekend, we even had a chance to take him out with his sister for a birthday photo session (I’ll post some pictures from that very shortly).  In the meantime, here are some images from Jack’s birthday celebration.  I hope you had a wonderful first year, my sweet nephew!

Introducing… Baby Benjamin!

Without further ado, I am happy to finally introduce you to baby Benjamin!  Baby B was not going to miss a single moment of this photo session.  Sleeping was not on his agenda for the day, but I actually think he enjoyed taking in all the action while Mommy tried every trick to try and get him to go to sleep.  But at least now we get to see his beautiful eyes!!!

Father’s Day Special Starts Today!!!

If you are anything like me, I am always struggling to come up with the perfect Father’s Day gift for my husband.  And I also know how hard it is to find a gift for my very own father, because, after all, what do you get a dad who has everything he needs, and doesn’t want for much.  Well, here I am to save the day!  In honor of this upcoming and very special holiday, I have decided to have a Father’s Day Special!  If you book your summer session between now and Father’s Day, your entire session fee may be used towards one of my collections.  So that takes care of your gift for your hubby, your dads AND any of the other special fathers you want to honor this Father’s Day!  Your custom photo session can include your family or just your children.  It’s completely up to you!  But hurry because there are only four weeks left until Father’s Day!

    So adorable…. Now that’s a Daddy’s Little Girl!

Chasing Chase!

You had to move quickly to capture this little guy!  His little feet raced faster than a speeding bullet.  And despite the sudden, cold air and blowing wind that appeared out of nowhere on Sunday, I did manage to get some smiles from little Chase (thanks in large part to the balloons I had in my car!).  Chase, you were a real hero for braving the cold so I thank you for that!  And I promised a few sneak peeks for his mommy, so here they are!  Enjoy!
