A Horse, Of Course!

This past Sunday I had a photo session with some very good friends of mine.  I was a little nervous about the weather because the clouds from the previous day had stayed with us and although the weather forecast was calling for a partly sunny day,  it was a bit gray outside.  But with the help of some occasional sun peeking through, we were able to complete our session AND have some fun at the same time.  But before I show you a preview of the pictures I took, let me first mention that this was no ordinary session.  It is common during one of my sessions to stroll around, taking pictures as we go.  And that is a fair way to describe this session.  But the funny part is that my models consisted of my dear friends, their daughter “M”, AND  the newest member of their family, a horse named Star.  And it did appear that Star was indeed the STAR of the day, because when I got home and browsed through the many images I took, it was then that I realized that Star was in most of the pictures!  Horses hold a very special place in my heart, so that is another reason why this session was so special for me.  As an equestrian myself, I couldn’t help but look back to the day when I was M’s age, when every single thing I did revolved around horses.  She reminded me so much of myself at her age – a looooooong time ago!  So thank you “K family” for that walk down memory lane AND for such a fun afternoon.  You all did a great job!  Even you, Star!

Christine; These are wonderful pictures of our beautiful granddaughter. Can’t wait to see the rest and wonder which ones they will pick as gifts. It will be a really hard choice.
